WELCOME!
Greetings from the President
Dear friends,
Welcome to the website of the Zeta Theta chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at Pepperdine University. Gamma Phi Beta was founded more than 130 years ago in Syracuse University with the intent to develop the "highest type of womanhood through education, social life, and service to country and humanity". In order to do this, we strive to follow our four core values: Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty. LOVE for ourselves and our sisters; LABOR in the form of service to humanity; LEARNING through our academic endeavors; and LOYALTY through a lifetime commitment to Gamma Phi.
Being a part of this amazing group of women has truly proven to be an honor. I am continuously astonished at the depths of the relationships that form within our chapter, the passionate zeal for service to others and the community, and the devotion to promoting the highest standards of Greek Life at Pepperdine that our members have. I say “astonished” because despite being highly involved in the Pepperdine community, the women of this sorority have taught me how to balance academics, service, and a social life to get the very most out of my college career.
Personally, there are so many stories I can tell in an attempt to paint a picture of how these amazing women have impacted my life. However, I will let the moments do the talking! I hope this website can be a guide to what our sisterhood holds dear, because I believe our greatest accomplishments in life are the memories we make with the people we will always remember. I am infinitely grateful for my sisters and for the person I am today because of them. Feel free to see for yourselves!
With Love,
Sarah Tadros
